Shin Shin is a female and minority-owned architecture, interiors, and research practice based in Los Angeles. Founded in 2019, the firm’s award-winning work spans across multiple scales from ADUs and single-family homes to multi-family residences, retail/tenant improvement, and mixed-use commercial spaces.
In 2022, Shin Shin received the AIA Los Angeles Emerging Practice Award, the highest honor the organization bestows on an emerging firm to recognize notable, innovative achievements in design, community service, education, and service to the profession. The firm was also recognized as the Best New Firm in the West by the Architect’s Newspaper (2021), AN’s Top 50 Architects and Designers (2022, 2023), and Wallpaper* Magazine’s Stars of the Future (2024).
